DP is great. Except that it lacks a few things that I would have thought Game Freak could pick up on. Like controlling Pokemon in battle. Say if a pkeon were to use Hydro Pump; your actions on the DS's bottom screen should be to make spiral shapes so as to perform the attack.

How would it benefit the game though? The only way i can think of making that work would be to have it reflect and change the moves base power, but that would be broken.

Ok, I'm going to sart by saying this:

Merry Christmas & happy new year

Now that's over with...

So After recovering from my pokemon silver incident I got pokemon emerald for Christmas :D ( Out-dated games FTW).So I wacked it in my DS and enjoyed the first few minutes of the game. I saved and turned it off for the night and when morning arrived I turned it on to play it again and...SAVE FILE CORRUPTED
DELETED FILE.

...at least pokemon yellow still loves me :(

It's a unique thread they use on it, only Nintendo products have it. Well, in theory, but i got a glasses repair kit and teh screwdriver in that fits perfectly... XD

Otherwise botch it, it takes about half an hour but you can do it.

Pokemon Video Game World Championship is here! ^_^

And this year it's actually world wide, including Europe and (I think) Canada as well as America and Japan. It's 4vs4 in double battle format, I won't go into the rules beyond that as they're all on the site, but is anyone else going to get involved?

I'm really excited about it, although the sign up method is kind of rubbish: the first 128 people to turn up to the event on the day between 8:30 and 9:30 are registerd to enter. I guess it's to stop people signing up and not turning up to the event, but still, it'd mean i'd have to wake up at about 5 in the morning to guarentee to get to London in time. And the UK's only getting the one event (in London), so that'll mean it's even harder to get in than everywhere else. But nevermind, i'm still excited. ;D

So, dunno if everyone else is aware, it was announced about a week ago ut I havn't gotten round to posting, but they've announced they're working on remakes of Gold and Silver for DS. Heart Gold and Soul Silver are the titles, I reckon they'll be out next year (for the 10th year aniversary).

Seriously? Gold and Silver are the only Pokemon games I've ever properly liked. Remember my level 100 Tyranitar that you owned so calously? Classic times...

Oh yeah. It was so awesome when Gold and Silver were new out, everyone was trading and battling and stuff... I remember we argued for ages as to which was better, my Mewtwo or your Tyranitar, then we finally got to battle and I beat Tyranitar... :D

Gold and Silver definatly had the best single player of all the Pokemon games, and combined with D/P's battling metagame... well, it's gonna be awesome. ^_^

Oh, and Platinum's out tommorow, dunno if anyone's excited about that...
