Hello. Not going to bother about writing a long introduction of myself right now.. Anyways; I thought you'd be interested in hearing I *can possibly* compose a few soundtracks or even a whole score for your Zelda movie. I've been a fan of Zelda over ten years now, and of course, it's music. I am very familiar with music from Zelda, so I can pull something off for you. I usually smack a price-tag on what I make to bigger movies, but since it's Zelda... Though if you do start selling and earning money on the movie in the future, I may want to require a tiny, tiny price.. Don't worry about that. If you're interested, please send me a mail with info about the movie and eventually special wishes. Like if you want your own version of Gerudo Valley theme, or Lost Woods.. I'd like to know when you expect to start filming, a wild guess on release date, basic plot line and length of the movie. We'll make a deal later on. HOLY crap, you have answered our prayers.
We have been looking for a composer, and the one we had lined up had other things on his plate.
If you composed a few tracks (Or the whole score) you will be worshipped.
ESPECIALLY if you were willing to do it for free.. Wow, I'm just so excited.
For individual tracks you'd have to speak to Cinaclov, but yah welcome aboard!

Fantastic. In regards to pay, we won't be making a profit from this due to legal issues (there would be problems with Nintendo if we made a profit off thier franchise's back), so profits from this would be limited at best. Of course, there is the possibility of allowing adverts on the site, which would give us a small ammount of money to use for potential payments, but to be honest id rather not fill the site up with adverts. It doesn't quite work with the Zelda feel of things. So, yes, we could well pay you, and if you require it id be more than willing to pay to you, although it'd be a big help if youd do it free If you want, ill email you a brief of the plot, and details regarding what you stated you wish to know about below.

Mail away And about payment, for non-professional films I prefer discussing prices out of the effort needed. But I usually compose music for non-profit movies for free or in a few cases at a very friendly price. Just don't worry about that yet After all, if I've read right, you haven't even began filming yet.

Oh, and i emailed you.

What, me or him?
Pick from one of these choices: (Delete as appropriate):
1.) Me: What did you email me about?
2.) Composer: Did you give him some insight into what kind of music we want?
That reminds me, what is the first scene? is it still the fishing bit?

And yes, it begins with Gustaf fishing, although i didn't go into that much detail with my account for composer (or tommy, whatever you want to be called on here )

Movie begins with fishing, awesome. I imagine like the beginning of "Ocarina of Time" feeling then? A peaceful village/citizen in the silence before the storm? I really imagine a flute-twist of the prologue here(when he's fishing or what's gonna happen in the very beginning.) Check out "Zelda- Prologue" here: www.tommygundersen.net/music/musicplayer/index.htmlJust keep in mind that's a quickly written idea. Not a finished product. None of the music there is.

Yes, I did I have another one already, www.tommygundersen.net/music/musicplayer/index.html"New Hyrule". Just thought to play around with one known melody from older Zelda games, and a new score I wrote. The second part (the new tune I've composed), is also kinda Kokiri Village-ish, but some of it also reminds me of different towns in Ocarina of Time, Hyrule Field, and that farm you get your horse in the game.. Epona. Hope you like

composer, I really like your music. I've been thinking for ages about the musical issues about this film. For example, Battle scenes and the lesser quiet scenes. So, I'm basicly saying I hope we get the Musical score right in this film, because Music Is may favorite thing about games/films so we need to get it right. Remember: You don't use the Music to go with the scene, you use the scene to go with the music. That is a rule to live by...*sips coffee* Btw, Can you do the Minish cap Prolouge (Slow Minish theme)? I think it would sound awesome In the film. EDIT: The "new Hyrule" sound very epilogue-ish, It's nice

What I like about you composer, is that on your site, the music you say your best at is perfect for this film, eg. sad, action style music. And yes Yokusa, I perfectly agree: a score can make or break any film. And, with composer on our side I'm sure we'll get it right!
