Also... Being that this is in a world that lives in Medieval times, many curse words wouldn't exist yet... so maybe only use D*mn, D*amnit, etc. and Ass.

The two fingers was created as an insult from archers to their enemys, which is why im asking, should we include them for historical context? And i thought whilst were on the subject we may as well discuss gore as well...

plus I don't really think extreme swearing is necassary.. yes it's kinda focused around death and fighting, but we can invent swearwords like... err.. I dunno, Snaff? Frack?

Again, have a little.
Blood, good, good, as long as it doesn't add to much to the cost.
For swearing, two fingers sounds good. I never knew that. PUT IT IN NOW.

It does add to the cost, generally by alot if there is a lot of blood... but it will just be mild, esspecially on their low budget.

But by using practical blood, you add more to the production value.

But by using practical blood, you add more to the production value. Your right it would add considerable amounts, but he just said he's using stock footage. I have the fotage myself, you'll be able to get lots of gore, little amounts and normal amounts. It'll be fine and it didn't cost a penny.

But by using practical blood, you add more to the production value. If you use it sparingly a small ammount of "gore effects" can last years. My friends got a set that we've used for years, and it only ran out recently because we plasterd the whole thing on him (but thats another story). I dont think its the cost, but the obtaining of good quality stuff that would be the problem.

But we've got stock footage. But i feel it would be far better to use a mix of both, rather than relying on one. Adds diversaty, if anythiung.

Stock blood is looks controlled. A mix of two is useful. And it'll probably be more fun for the actors.
