Well, basically, this is where i want to discuss how far down that road the film should go. None of the Zelda games up to now have had any form of blood in, yet you physically cannot capture the essence of a war without it. I dont mean having gallons of the stuff in an unrealistic manner, i mean reasonable ammounts of it, to give fights a more realistic look and feel to them. As for swearing, i dont mean f'ing and blinding all over the place, i mean more refined, mild swearing, and maybe gestures. Iv been contemplating the "two fingers", as its original meaning was as an insult from archers to their enemys. Basically, if "the enemy" captured an archer from someone they wouldnt kill them, just cut off their two bow pulling fingers then release them. This would prevent them from pulling a bow again, and so archer's used to show their bow fingers to the enemy to effectivly boast that they hadnt been captured yet. It would add historical context, but then theres the issue of it actually being a form of swearing. The highest age rating a Zelda game has ever had was TP, with a 12, and i wouldnt want to progress much beyond that, although i am willing to go that bit further if it would add to the experience.

Someones been doing their research on swearing.
Interesting about those archers though. If Gustaf did do that, it would be realistic but people might not understand the reference. but I think we should anyway.
As for Blood, it's not quite completely unheard of in the zelda series. In ocarina of time when you chopped baddies loike tektikes they spewed some green stuff (Which we can assume to be blood).
And thanks to user Henrydorf (Who sent me some blood stock footage) We wont have to waste any money on bllood, we can use CG.

Im yet to show you the Zombie protection video we made, but the fake blood in that is really realistic. Im only asking the opinion of the people here, as this is what the forum is for: getting your opinion of the film heard.

Today I learned an awesome history lesson. Sometimes you can never have to much blood. Just look at the omovie I mad called Operation:DEATH the blood is exagerated but it works. I say go all out with the blood.

Yeah- I agree. and apart from everything else, if you cut someone and theres no blood it looks downright odd.

I've got a history lesson. Everyone knows that military salut. Well it used to be that knights before they jousted did that to lift their visors. It was an honour thing.

Blood is nessesary so the People acctually look like they've taken a fatal wound/dead/etc. But don't over do it, Like in some animes, You WON'T cough up blood if you get hit in the stomach, it's only if you get hit in the thoratic(sp?)/Lung area and don't over do gore eaither. I know its a war but stupid things like bleading a gallon when you get a not to deep gash is OTT.
as for swearing, the odd Crap or Bugger is fine just don't so a ganster and put a swear word iin every friggin sentence ¬_¬

I'm against profanity in this movie, maybe except "d**n".
Yet again, what profane words were in the manga? --------- EDIT: Yes, there was some, yet very, very little blood in the games. In the battle with Ganon in OoT, some blood squirted from Genon's head when dealt Link's final blow and some in Epona's wound in Twilight Princess. I don't know about the blood in TP after that since I haven't finished it yet.

we are dancing around the obvious here, apart from a bit of blood,
Link stuck a sword in ganons face.
not something I would mark down as not gory.

Exactly. So I'm sure a little blood will be fine, maybe even quite a lot. trust me, it's all good

There are a lot of young gamers who love Zelda (i'm only 11 and I love it) so it's best not go over board.
THe blood, dont have too much. Have a bit, like a bleeding soldier or etc, but dont have gallons of blood spilling out from every wound. With the swearing, dont go too overboard. F***, sh*t (?) and others shouldnt be used or the top reason.

Some people might be more realistic about the swearing and blood content then others.
Even my brother would say "If you got knocked down by a Goron, would you act like it didn't happen or get up and say 'What the f*ck, b*tch?' "
And I kinda have the same problom, if you got stabbed with a sword, would there be blood? Yes.
I say have mild swearing, Ass/nuts/d**n (and other forms of d**n) and have mild blood (nothing like the game Gears of War [bloodest game ever]).
